Legislative

• Coordinate Women in Agriculture Day at the Capitol
• Provide legislative updates for newsletter
• Provide representation at American Agri-Women’s Mid-Year Meeting (usually March or April) and Fly-In (June)

• Coordinate and develop program for the Annual Meeting
• Secure sponsorships for annual meeting

• Oversee quarterly newsletter production
• Fax and e-mail membership alerts and new
• Submit affiliate news to AAW
• Send press releases
• Update FAW scrapbook

Education

• Coordinate dispersion of scholarship funds
• Coordinate FAW involvement in agricultural education programs
• Insure that FAW members apply for scholarships to participate in AAW events (i.e., Annual Meeting, Fly-In and Syngenta “Leadership at its Best” Program)

Finance

• Coordinate membership dues billing with the Secretary
• Pay dues to AAW monthly
• Deposit checks in a timely manner
• Prepare a budget for adoption at the annual meeting
• Insurance maintenance on non-profit status

Membership

• Coordinate membership recruiting events
• Coordinate regional networking events for members
• Update FAW display
